The Benefits of DLIA Membership

• Stay informed of local and state government actions that impact Deering Lake and the Deering Lake watershed

• Be aware of practices that can negatively impact Deering Lake

• Be part of an organization that sustains and promotes the natural and environmental factors of Deering Lake

• Create new friends and keep the old ones!

The DLIA is regular contributors to the Deering Fire and Rescue Squad, the NH Lakes Association, and The Loon Preservation. Additionally, the DLIA shares the cost of annual lake testing with the Deering Conservation Commission.

DLIA members are not only property owners; many members serve as Deering Town Officials on the town's planning board and Zoning Board of Adjustments to name a few.  DLIA members also serve on many subcommittees, including the DLIA's Weed Watcher Program, the town's Boat Ramp Monitoring Program, the DLIA Dam and Loon Committee.  Lastly, DLIA members are well-connected to the NH State House and often speaking at legislative hearings on environmental issues.
